Mule Deer Hunts

We offer Mule Deer hunts where we are typically hunting desert mule deer.

Our mule deer typically are not what you are going to see in Colorado and North with the exception of drawing some highly sought-after tags in Northern New Mexico.

Hunting desert mule deer in southern New Mexico can be a very rewarding and exciting hunt. These tags when applied for in the draw with us as your outfitter have fairly good odds of drawing a tag.

Our mule deer hunts you can expect average bucks in the 120-140 range, but the opportunity at 170+ buck does exist. These hunts would be great if you are looking for the opportunity to hunt mule deer but aren’t set on a 200-inch giant. Hunting mule deer in our typical hunt areas is a great time and will undoubtedly be a fun hunt. We have hunted mule deer all over the country and I still love to have the opportunity to hunt our mule deer here at home.

Mule Deer hunts start in September and run through January depending on the hunt choice.

Black Bear Hunts

These hunts take place from August 16th to December 15th.

Our black bear hunts utilize different hunting strategies including hunting from trucks, UTV, on foot, and on mules. We use our highly trained bear hounds to tree or bring bears to bay where we can size up the animal to ensure the harvest of your dream animal.

These hunts are typically done in the warmer months of the year near the end of our monsoon season making for an opportunity to see New Mexico during the wettest time of the year typically with a lot of green sure to be some great views and a memorable experience. Our bears usually average around 200 pounds with the larger bears pushing 400 pounds. Our hunt areas have a variety color phase bears making for some unique harvest opportunities.

Exotic Hunts

Barbary Sheep, Oryx, Ibex

We offer unique hunting opportunities in southern New Mexico with the availability of drawing tags for Barbary Sheep, Oryx, and Ibex.

All of these species are free-range hunts on public land which provide a hunting opportunity that is unique and very memorable. All of these animals offer their challenges to hunt and our guides have had successful opportunities to hunt and guide for all of these species.

These hunts have opportunities to hunt all year. We are also located in an area where we can take you hunting for barbary sheep all year on an over-the-counter tag.
